What’s up with Twitter? What’s it all about, really? The best description of it I’ve heard was a “microblog.” Basically, instead of writing an entire article, you’re coming up with a quick headline to talk about what’s going on in your life, or what’s on your mind. It’s based on text messages, which are limited to 160 characters per message, so Twitter messages are limited to 140 (to leave 20 characters of room for addressing information).

Recovered some lost entries
Thanks to the wonders of Google Cache, I was able to recover the otherwise lost articles “Chinese curse interesting bus rides” and “I’ve got pneumonia!” which were inadvertently deleted during the recent overhaul of the site. I also recovered about half of “Some people have no shame;” I’m still trying to find the rest of that, as well as “The state! The state! The state is on fire!” Hopefully, I’ll track down copies of them somewhere before long.

Site Overhaul
You might’ve noticed that the site looks a little different. Well, at long last I’ve merged my old, dusty site and my blog together into a cohesive whole. And good lord, was it far easier than I’d expected.
There’s probably going to be some hiccups here and there after the change (mostly from broken links, I’ll bet), but all the content that was here before is still here now – and is actually easier to get to now.
Feel free to let me know what you think of the changes!
