- And, yes, I finally got to Vibora Bay. Fighting the zombified remains of every hero to carry the Black Mask name through history was cool #

- Ugh. Internet connection keeps dropping, causing me to have to restart the same boss fight over & over. Dude's got 50K health (I'm only 5K) #
- What makes it worse is it keeps happening when I get him down to >20K health, and he resets when I log back in #
- LOL I'm playing Champions Online (same company that made Star Trek Online), and my music player's playing the theme from Starfleet Command #
- Thing that sucks fighting this guy is, he's so powerful if I get close for stronger attacks, kills me in ~5sec… #
- …But the only attack that has range to hit him safely is relatively weak & has a 30sec recharge, so beating him takes forever #
- Got him under 20K again. Fingers crossed my connection stays up long enough to finish him for a change #
- LOL now it's playing "Headful of Ghosts" by Bush, and I'm playing a level where I have to rescue the soul of a dead hero from a demon #
- W00t! Finally beat it, at last! #

- These Takofanes demons are a LOT easier to beat once I figured out how to damage them while staying outside their range. #
- Me: able to fly and shoot fireballs. Him: on the ground, with limited range for magic attacks. So, yeah, I'm bombing him from the ceiling #

- Teacher for the HS French class I'm working with showed video of a trip he took to Europe. Made me a little nostalgic/homesick, actually. #
- Can't believe it's been nearly 10 years since I was last in Germany, and that was only for a few days. I need to go back some time soon. #
- Having grown up in Germany, I really do think of it as "home." I wish it wasn't so difficult/expensive to go back to visit. #
- Very few people I knew still live there, too, so that doesn't help, either. In my case, it's very true that I can never truly go home again. #
- I can certainly visit the places where I once lived, but without the people I knew still living there, it's kind of hollow. #
